In a move that could potentially double the number of polytechnic seats in the State, AICTE has allowed both engineering and polytechnic institutions to begin offering polytechnic courses for up to 300 students. Mr. Kasi Venkat Kiran, is Persuing Ph.d from GITAM University and graduated in Computer Science and Engineering from JNTU Hyderabad in 2005, He obtained Masters Degree in Computer Science and Engineering from G.V.P Engineering college (Autonomous) in 2007. Having a total teaching experience of 17 Years. He has published a large number of technical papers and participated in international conferences. In all his activities he kindles the curiosity of the students to achieve more by their smart work. Hailing from a teaching family, he has been highly regarded as an efficient teacher by the students, who is firm but at the same time friendly. Each year our institution steps forward by securing two fold results than the previous semester.

The Duration for these Diploma courses is of 3 years. The Eligibility and Admissions process are as per the POLYCET conducted by the SBTET – AP which will give its notification generally in the month of Feb/March.
Fees: As mentioned by the SBTET, AP
Scholarship holders are eligible for Fees Reimbursement which will be governed by the Rules given by the Govt of Andhra Pradesh.
SPOT Admissions:
Candidates who seek admissions through management quota are to apply against the college admissions notification or they can approach the college directly. While applying, they have to produce the following documents.
- SSC/Inter Original Certificate
- Transfer Certificate of the Last study
- Study certificates from the 1st Class to 10th Class
Caste Certificate
- In case of Non-Local Candidates, Recent Residence certificate of candidate’s parents issued by MRO stating that they resided at least 10 years in this state (Mandatory)
- NOC from the State Secondary Board for the Non Local Candidates

WISTM has specially designed a program to mould the student through an interaction with a teaching faculty periodically and help in their holistic development of personality. The counseling system comprises of one mentor to whom about 20 students are attached. Through counseling, the counselor will be able to assess the strengths and weakness through SWOT analysis and rectify the difficulties the student is facing in understanding the subject. If student is having any difficulty in understanding the subject, the student is given individual care and student is extended all help to make the student problem to be resolved to the core level.
The counselors bestow special care about the attendance of the student. If any student is absent for more than 2 days, his parents are intimated about his absence. An update of student’s attendance is informed to the parent every month. . Parents are also intimated about the student behavior and his academic performance at regular intervals. The parent can have a direct interaction with the counselors once in an academic year and know the overall progress of the student.
