The library is well equipped with modern facilities and resources in the form of Books Journals CD / DVD -ROMs, Online Databases, Back Volume of Journals, Video Lessons from NPTEL, MIT Press and Standford University. All the Students, faculty members and employees of the Institute are entitled to make use of the library facilities on taking library Membership. The library has subscription to online journals of DELNET. The online journals are access through DELTA- R5 Server.

FACILITIES AT A GLANCE

A well equipped Digital Library is one of the most important sections of the Library. The library being a member of AICTE-INDEST consortium under the aegis of the Ministry of Human Resource and Development provides online access. The Digital Library is having 24 systems is being utilized for using NTPEL VIDEOS ( DELTA – R5) Digital Library Organizer all are connected on LAN (Client Server) and also having 33 systems connected with browsing the internet for Academic purpose.

Inter Library Loan facility is available through DELNET.
To help the students and teachers to reach their full potential by providing multifaced, supportive learning and teaching environment.
To provide global access to information published worldwide in many disciplines in support of qualitative research and education at the WISTM Engineering College level.
Use of Digital Library :

The students necessarily produce the Id cards to the official incharge of the user’s attendance record and enter their Roll No, name, Name of the URL using and system No particulars in the log book before working on the system.

The resources of the digital library are meant for academic and research purpose only. Violation of these provision/misuse of the facility will be viewed seriously and suitable disciplinary action will be taken against such users.
Users are not allowed to send or receive E-Mails from the library.
Penalty ranging from Rs. 500/- to Rs. 1000/- will be levied on students using the net facility for other than educational purpose.
Maximum time for browsing is restricted to 30min.

All Students, Faculty, Administrative staff and supporting staff of the college are entitled to become members of the central library. The membership application forms can be obtaining from circulation counter and should be submitted through proper channel.

• Students & Faculty must sign in the Gate Register while entering into the Library.
• While issues or returns of books, Students must maintain a queue.
• Students & Faculty are advised not to carry bags, and other printed materials into the Library.
• they are not transferable. In case it is lost the cost of the ticket will be collected from the borrower
• ISSUE: Only 3 books for the students and 2 text books for allotted subjects for the faculty members.
• Books will be issued to the students on Loan for a period of 14 days and for one full semester for the Staff.
• In case a book is lost, the borrower should pay the cost of the Book or Replace the book of the same Author within a week.
• Before borrowing and accepting the books, the borrower has to verify the condition of the book and return the books in same condition.
• Absence and illness are not acceptable excuses from paying overdue charges (Fines)..
• Students are required to submit identity card while taking any book/material from the Library to outside for Xerox purpose.
• Strict silence should be maintained in the Library.
• Students are cautioned not to throw any Litter in the Library.
• Usage of cell Phones either by the student or by the Staff is Prohibited inside the Library
• Books will be issued only to the students in person, but not threw authorized letters.
• Students are requested not to replace & misplace the books arranged in the racks from its allotted place..
• Only 3 tickets will be issued to students and 6 tickets for faculty members
