In this lab students do simple experiments on 8085 /8086 microprocessor kits and also do some interfacing experiments using 8279 and 8255. To achieve this, the lab is equipped with a good number of 8085/8086 micro processor kits, Dual-trace oscilloscopes, power supplies, one HP P-IV system with internet facility and miscellaneous items.
In this lab students emphasize the vast array of DSP applications via practical DSP exercises in areas like: image and video processing, audio and speech processing, communications etc.
• To receive training in basic MATLAB programming and Signal Processing toolbox functions to implement many DSP operations
• To learn to define a hardware design in VHDL language utilizing the three basic VHDL modeling styles.
