The WISTM has a specially designed mentoring program to mould the student periodically and help in their holistic development. Each faculty member is allocated 15 students to counsel. The students meet their faculty counsellor periodically, with the minimum being once every week. In the counselling process, the faculty counsellor assesses the strengths and weakness of the students through SWOT analysis and then proposes measures to overcome challenges and weaknesses. The counsellor bestows individual care on the student and helps him excel in curricular and co-curricular aspects. The counsellor (or sometimes the class in-charge) reports the students’ progress, in terms of attendance, results, behaviour, etc., to their parents, and act as a direct contact to the parents to apprise themselves of their ward’s progress.
